Chieu,
How is your "Home Alone 4" movie coming along? You have not triggered
the fire alarm, haven't you?
I enjoy the discussions, and learnt quite a few things from them. I
wish I had more time to spend.
All,
Some interesting pix from VN:

Check out this link from Dai Truyen Hinh TPHCM
http://www.htv.com.vn/truyenhinh/default.asp. I briefly browsed several
sections such as movies, cai luong, kich, van nghe, hoat hoa, and the
contents seem to be clean (not much political stuff). I found it rather
interesting to see that they are broadcasting US TV shows for kids:
Caillou, Barney, Kipper... and yes, TinTin. I let our kids watch a
Caillou clip in Vietnamese; they loved it and we had a good laugh
together. The resolution is too low to be downloaded to VCD/DVD and
replayed on TV.

Nam,
Merry XMas and let's hope there won't be a lot of problems in the New
year.
It doesn't mean our "private dicussion" will stop in the coming year. I
think it's a good thing to continue.
For me, I have a place to share/voice my political view points. This is
one of the things I missed since my Dad passed away, I loved to discuss
politics with him. Gee, I missed him!
I hope you enjoyed our discussion as much as I do, well, at least I hope
you ventilated your feeling after the election.
Ba` con A1 & A2,
Do you have any plan for XMas holiday ? Hope all is well for everyone.
For me, Xmas never been a good time for the last few years. Last year,
my Dad ..., this year QA's God mother (aunt, she's my second Mum in
law!). It was a shock to us because we just went back to VN to visit her
and everything was fine. QA already flied to VN for the funeral and
probably stay there over XMas and New Year to settle the "after math"
and other stuff . I'm home alone and working thru XMas & New Year to pay
the bill.
Well, on the positive note, I have a chance to cook and try out the
recipes I collected from Gia Long Yeu Thuong group. If you don't hear
from me after New Year, then you know what happened ... and throw away
the recipes I sent you.
Anyway, enjoy your holiday!
Chieu

Year!
For us, we will try to be optimistic about the coming year.
Reading "The Bush Survival Bible" sounds like a good way to start:
