That's the point. There are several different views about history, war,
policies, etc. Keep digging the past to try to make assumptions about how
things would end up if things went this way, or that way is like going
around a circle.
Compare Korea and Vietnam? What about Germany before the end of Berlin Wall?
Different countries, different peoples, different fates. Communists in Korea
and Germany accepted the division of the country. VN-communists didn't. They
vowed they never will. If I could make an assumption, we might end up living
in a place like Palestine/Israel with daily violence. 3 generations of
Palestinians have been stuck in Palestine refugee camps since 1948 by
Israeli. They have been fighting since then and nowhere near the end.
